On October 6th 2004, the first meeting of this small but talented group took place. Watch our video live!

In November 2005 the youth choir entered the Kilcoole Music Festival and came first in both the Sacred Music and the Open Choral competition for under 18 choirs. The programme in two competitions was as follows:
- Mozart: Ave Verum
- Rutter: Blow thou Winter Wind
- Rutter: The Gaelic Blessing
- Beatles: Let it be
They performed to great acclaim at the Christmas Gala Concert in December 2004. While still small, the youth choir is a full mixed 4-part SATB group! The choir sang again at the Choral Society's End of Season Concert in April 2005 and also guested with Wicklow Choral Group at their End of Season Concert in May 2005.
In the 2005-06 season the choir will visit a number of Choral Festivals in Ireland, It will also make a number of guest appearances and the highlight of the season will be when the members perform as the Piccolo Coro in Carl Orff's, Carmina Burana with the adult choir at the National Concert Hall in Dublin in April 2006.
The aim of Bray Choral Society Youth Choir is to introduce young people in the Bray and North Wicklow area to the fun and sheer joy of choral singing as we have been introduced to it over the last twenty-one years. The programme will always be varied from pop-song arrangements through folk-song to the more serious and challenging pieces in the choral repertoire. view our repertoire This will all be done in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere that will try to foster the social side of amateur choral singing through the weekly practices and hopefully in the longer term, through outings and trips to Choral Festivals.
Would you like to join the youth choir?
The choir meets on Wednesdays at 5.30pm in St. Kilian's. We would be delighted
to welcome more young people, boys and girls, who enjoy singing and would like
to be part of a fine mixed-voice youth choir. At present the age-range is from
teens to twenties.
